Fiji’s Bula Boys Boost Squad Ahead of World Cup Qualifiers!

Fiji’s national football team, the Bula Boys, under head coach Rob Sherman, has strengthened its roster for the upcoming FIFA World Cup Oceania Qualifiers by adding three new players. Midfielder Leroy Jennings from Sydney United FC, defender Gabrieli Matanisiga from Wellington Olympic AFC, and defender Kavaia Rawaqa from Suva FC have been included in the extended 27-member squad.

Fiji is placed in Group A for the qualifiers, competing against the Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea, and New Caledonia. The team is gearing up for the first round of matches, which will begin on October 10 at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.

The complete 27-member squad includes: Isikeli Sevania, Samuela Kautoga, Epeli Leiroti, Ivan Kumar, Sitiveni Cavulagi, Thomas Dunn, Mohammed Raheem, Setareki Hughes, Aprosa Yada, Nabil Begg, Mosese Nabose, Tevita Waranaivalu, Merril Nand, Leroy Jennings, Sairusi Nalabu, Patrik Joseph, Atonio Tuivuna, Filipe Baravilala, Kavaia Rawaqa, Rahul Krishna, Jerome Narayan, Sterling Vasconcellos, Akuila Mataisuva, Dave Radrigai, Gabrieli Matanisiga, Etonia Dogalau.
