Sakiasi Ditoka, the Minister for Rural and Maritime Development and Disaster Management, reaffirmed the government’s dedication to assist all Fijians impacted by Tropical Cyclone Rae. Following the cyclone’s destruction across various regions, the minister expressed that the government is actively engaged in setting up effective relief and response initiatives.

During a recent briefing, Ditoka emphasized his ongoing communication with the National Disaster Risk Management Office (NDRMO) and ground teams, asserting the importance of a coordinated response led by Divisional Commissioners.
