The Telecommunications Authority of Fiji (TAF) made a significant advancement in its operations with the unveiling of its first Five-Year Strategic Plan (2025-2029) at Tanoa Plaza in Suva. This historic event was officiated by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Communications, Manoa Kamikamica, who highlighted the plan’s four key pillars: Regulatory Effectiveness, Service Delivery, Advocacy, and Financial Sustainability.

Supporting these pillars are strategic enablers that focus on People and Governance, Processes, and Technology, all aimed at bridging the digital gap, promoting innovation, and solidifying Fiji’s position as the digital communication hub of the Pacific. Mr. Kamikamica emphasized that this milestone reflects TAF’s commitment to enhancing the telecommunications sector, envisioning a future where every citizen of Fiji has equitable access to technology and opportunities.
