Fiji’s Bold Step: Health Sector Takes on Climate Change

The Cabinet has approved the Health National Adaptation Plan, which serves as the health sector’s response to the effects of climate change. This plan outlines the strategic direction for adaptation and mitigation initiatives within Fiji’s health sector and will steer efforts to address climate change and health until 2030. The Health National Adaptation Plan is set to be unveiled at COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan.
