Fiji’s Bold Step: Health Plan Tackles Climate Change

The Cabinet has approved the Health National Adaptation Plan, which serves as the health sector’s response to the effects of climate change. This plan outlines the strategic methods for both adaptation and mitigation actions within Fiji’s health sector, providing a framework for advancing climate change and health initiatives in the country through 2030. The Health National Adaptation Plan is set to be officially launched at COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan.
