Kartik Reddy, the manager of the Digicel Fiji Bula Boys, expressed optimism about the team’s prospects as they prepare for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. Reddy stated, “We aim to claim the 1.5 spots available to OFC for qualification to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.”
The team is set to commence their training camp on September 29 at the Fiji FA Academy in Ba, with the final roster of 23 players to be announced on October 5.
However, the team will be without key players Remeuru Takiata and Muni Shivam Naidu, who have work commitments. On a positive note, Reddy confirmed that team captain Roy Krishna, currently engaged with his club, will join the squad on October 5, providing a significant boost for the upcoming qualifiers.
