The National Housing Policy for 2025–2030 has been officially launched, presenting a strategic roadmap focused on enhancing the housing sector in Fiji. In alignment with the constitutional right to adequate and affordable housing for all Fijians, the policy aims to significantly increase access to adequate, safe, and affordable housing while also addressing the upgrading of informal settlements by the year 2030.
At the launch event, Housing Minister Maciu Nalumisa expressed the ministry’s commitment to empowering individuals through various initiatives within the national housing framework.
