Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Sitiveni Rabuka has announced that the Cabinet has approved Fiji’s Foreign Policy White Paper. In a statement, Rabuka outlined that the white paper defines Fiji’s foreign policy priorities across several key areas: Sovereignty, Identity and Values; Security; Transnational Security; Climate Change; Bilateral Relationships with major powers; Prosperity; Foreign Policy and Development Assistance; and the Implementation of Foreign Policy. The Prime Minister emphasized that the development of this white paper involved a comprehensive whole-of-Government approach to shape Fiji’s international interactions moving forward.
