The Digicel Fiji Baby Bula Boys have one final challenge ahead as they prepare to take on New Zealand in the OFC under-16 Championship final today. They have already secured a spot at the FIFA under-17 World Cup in Qatar next year after a 2-1 victory over Tahiti.
Head coach Sunil Kumar expressed his confidence in the team’s progress, stating that the players have demonstrated significant improvements. Despite earlier challenges during the pool matches, Kumar remains optimistic about the team’s capabilities.
“We didn’t receive much positive feedback for our pool match due to our performance, but we believed the boys could perform better, and I am very proud of their display,” said Kumar.
The Baby Bula Boys are determined to conclude their OFC men’s under-16 championship campaign on a high note. The final match is set to kick off at 4 PM today in Tahiti.
