The Fiji Airways men’s 7s team, the reigning champions, will face a challenging group as they have been placed alongside New Zealand in Pool A for the upcoming McDonald’s Coral Coast 7s tournament in Sigatoka. Coached by Osea Kolinisau, Fiji will also compete against Tuva Rugby and Brothers Club in their pool.
The All Blacks 7s, under the guidance of Tomasi Cama, will be in Pool B, where they will encounter the Fijian Drua 7s, Seattle Barbarians, and Colo West. Meanwhile, Pool C features BLK Lavidi, Samoa 7s, Bula Bay 7s, and Ratu Filise. Pool D consists of Aussie Select 7s, McDonald’s Mike Friday Select 7s, Devo Babas, and Taikita Brothers.
The tournament is scheduled to take place from January 16 to 18 at Lawaqa Park, promising an exciting showcase of rugby talent.
