Osea Kolinisau has been officially reappointed as the head coach of the Fiji Airways Fijian 7s team for the upcoming four years, leading into the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics. This decision follows extensive discussions that involved coaches, team managers, and captains, along with an independent review.
Peter Mazey, the Interim Chairman of the Fiji Rugby Union, highlighted Kolinisau’s impressive track record over the last four months, showcasing his capability and future vision for the team. “He has significant plans moving forward, which he will reveal in due course. We are enthusiastic about the potential of our men’s Sevens team under his ongoing leadership and are dedicated to aiming for gold at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics,” stated Mazey.
