The $75 million Hilton Garden Inn project is set to launch, aiming to significantly enhance the tourism sector of the city, according to Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka. He emphasized that this investment marks a notable advancement for the nation’s capital.
“This project highlights Fiji’s growing status as a leading investment destination, promising to stimulate our economy, generate employment, and position Suva as a prime location for tourists and business travelers,” Rabuka stated. He encouraged further investments, stressing their importance for the country’s future development.
Scheduled for completion in August 2025, the hotel will offer 178 rooms equipped with high-quality amenities, including a gym, swimming pool, restaurant, and bar. This marks the initial phase of development, with plans for a waterfront retail complex to follow, further enhancing Suva’s attractiveness.
