The $75 million Hilton Garden Inn project is set to reshape the tourism sector in the capital city, according to Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka. He noted that this investment marks a major advancement for the nation.
“This project exemplifies Fiji’s growing status as a prime investment location and will undoubtedly stimulate our economy, generate employment, and position Suva as a key destination for both tourists and business travelers,” he stated.
Rabuka also encouraged others to draw inspiration from such investments, emphasizing their significance for the country’s future growth.
Scheduled for completion in August 2025, the hotel will offer 178 rooms along with premium amenities including a gym, swimming pool, restaurant, and bar. This project represents only the first phase, with plans for a waterfront retail development poised to further enhance Suva’s attractiveness.
