The Vodafone Fijiana XVs experienced a significant defeat, losing 59-15 to Scotland during their first test match early this morning at the Hive Stadium in Edinburgh. Scotland showcased their strength by scoring nine tries, while Fiji managed three unconverted tries throughout the match.

By halftime, Scotland had established a solid lead of 28-10, having scored four converted tries, while Fiji secured two unconverted tries. In the second half, Fiji could only register one more unconverted try, as Scotland added another 31 points to their tally, resulting in a decisive victory.

Looking ahead, the Fijiana will prepare for their next test match against the Netherlands scheduled for next week, along with their participation in the WXV3 tournament. The match against the Netherlands is set to take place at 5:30 am on Friday.
