Ivamere Nabura and Alisi Galo from the Suva Women’s team are set to make their debut for the Vodafone Fijiana XV in a much-anticipated Test match against Scotland at the Hive Stadium in Edinburgh tomorrow.
Head coach Moses Rauluni has assembled a strong team for the encounter, with Bitila Tawake starting as loosehead prop, Keleni Marawa at hooker, and Anasimeci Korovata at tighthead prop.
The lock positions will be filled by Mereoni Nakesa and Asinate Serevi. In the back row, Nunia Daunimoala will play blindside flanker, Sulita Waisega will take the openside role, and team captain Karalaini Naisewa will lead from the number eight position.
In the backline, Evivi Senikarivi will begin as scrumhalf, supported by Jennifer Ravutia at flyhalf. Adita Milinia will occupy the left wing, Litiana Lawedrau will play at inside centre, Talei Wilson at outside centre, and Merewairita Neivosa will take the right wing. Luia Tisolo will anchor the team at fullback.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 5:45 a.m. tomorrow.
