Fijiana XV Head Coach Mosese Rauluni has highlighted the need for sharpness and precision as the team gears up for their test against the Wallaroos.
“This week has been about being sharp and just being accurate. It’s an away game with different weather conditions; it’s going to be a lot colder than the last time we played in Australia,” explained Rauluni.
He further mentioned that the team has undergone rigorous training and has shown significant improvement since their last test against Japan.
“The girls have improved a lot from the last Japan game, but only time will tell when we go against the Wallabies,” he said.
“The Wallaroos are in a changing phase like us; they’re still a team to be reckoned with. They’ve lost all their test matches so far but they’re still going to be strong. We can’t take them lightly,” added the coach.
The Fijiana XV are eager to avenge their previous encounter with the Wallaroos, where the Australian side secured a 22-5 victory in May of the last year.
The match is scheduled for 6:45 pm this Saturday.
