Vodafone Fijiana XV coach Mosese Rauluni is confident in the team’s readiness for their upcoming match against the Wallaroos.
Having undergone rigorous training in the past few weeks, Rauluni notes that players have been responding well, creating a positive atmosphere in camp.
“This week has been about getting sharp and being accurate. It’s going to be a tough match, especially since we’re playing away. The conditions will be different; it’s going to be colder in Australia, and we need to be on our game,” said Rauluni.
Having trained diligently since their last match against Japan, the players are primed for the upcoming clash.
Rauluni recognizes the strength of the Wallaroos despite their losses in test matches.
“The Wallaroos are a team to be reckoned with, but we have an opportunity. They have lost all their test matches so far, but they are still strong, and we can’t take them lightly.”
As some players navigate through a long season, Rauluni remains hopeful and eager for the match against the Wallaroos.
“It has been a long season already for some of these girls. We are looking forward to this match.”
Rauluni also encouraged Fijian fans in Sydney to come out in numbers and support the girls during the match.
The Fijiana XV will face the Wallaroos at Allianz Stadium in Sydney this Saturday at 6:45 PM.
