The Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s team faced a challenging opening to their Singapore 7s campaign, suffering a 35–7 defeat against Australia in their first pool match.
Australia took control from the outset, leveraging their speed and effective execution to establish a significant 21–7 lead by halftime. Key contributions came from Maddison Levi, who scored two early tries, and additional efforts from Teagan Levi, Madison Ashby, Kaitlin Shave, and Faith Nathan, all of whom helped to increase Australia’s lead.
