Verenaisi Ditavutu has expressed her determination for the Fijiana 7s team to climb the standings following a challenging start in the HSBC SVNS Series. Currently, after competing in two tournaments in Dubai and Cape Town, the Fijiana team finds itself ranked 11th out of 12 teams. Ditavutu has highlighted the team’s goal of improving their position significantly.
“Our goal is to enhance our ranking, specifically to move up beyond the eighth place,” Ditavutu stated. This focus on improvement reflects a collective commitment within the team to push through the challenges they have faced thus far.
Recently returning from a stint with the Rhinos Rugby Academy in San Clemente, USA, Ditavutu shared her positive experiences there. “It was enjoyable to bond with players from various countries, all united in our love for rugby,” she commented, indicating how such international experiences can enhance a player’s development.
