The Fijiana 7s team is embarking on a new chapter as they prepare for the 2024-25 HSBC SVNS opener in Dubai, with nine debutants included in their 13-member squad. Among the standout newcomers are Mere Vocevoce, Sera Bolatini, Silika Qalo, Ruth Raketekete, Varanisese Qoro, Vika Nakacia, Milika Drugunavanua, and Livia Naidei, all of whom will be making their first appearances on the international stage. Joining them are the experienced Lavena Cavuru, Ana Maria Naimasi, Mereani Rogosau, and Ilisapeci Delaiwau, who will provide valuable experience during the tournament.
The team will depart from Nadi International Airport tomorrow and will face Australia in their opening match of the Dubai 7s on Saturday, November 30th at 9:05 PM.
