Verenaisi Ditavutu is determined to help the Fijiana 7s team improve their standings in the HSBC SVNS Series following their challenging start to the season. Currently positioned 11th out of 12 teams after competing in the tournaments in Dubai and Cape Town, Ditavutu emphasized the need for the team to elevate their performance.
“One of our goals is definitely to move up in the rankings,” she stated. “We want to surpass the eighth position, which is a significant target for the team.”
Recently, Ditavutu returned from her time in the United States, where she played with the Rhinos Rugby Academy in San Clemente. She described her experience as enjoyable, highlighting the opportunity to bond with players from different countries while focusing on rugby.
“I really enjoyed meeting new people, and it was all about rugby,” she shared, reflecting on her experience.
In preparation for the upcoming competitions, Ditavutu is committed to achieving peak fitness to make a strong return to the playing circuit this year.
