New South Wales Police are seeking public help to find a Fijian woman who has gone missing from Sydney’s west. Laite Tairewa, aged 45, arrived in Australia on Saturday, June 15, 2024, and had been staying with friends in Merrylands. She was supposed to be picked up by a friend on Saturday, June 22, 2024, but could not be found.
Officers from Cumberland Police Area Command have been informed and have started inquiries into her whereabouts. Authorities and friends are concerned for Laite’s wellbeing as she has been in the country for only a few weeks and is not familiar with the area.
