Fijian weightlifter Taniela Rainibogi delivered an impressive performance by finishing 16th out of 31 competitors in the 109kg category at the 2024 IWF World Championship held in Bahrain.
Going head-to-head with a roster of elite lifters, including Olympic medalists, Rainibogi’s achievement makes him the first male weightlifter from Fiji to place in the Top 20 at any World Championships.
