The Fijian U20 team faced a challenging defeat, falling 52-12 to Argentina in their final pool match at the World Rugby Under 20 Championship. Despite the tough game, Fiji managed to score two tries.

Ponipate Tuberi found the try line towards the end of the first half, with Isikeli Basiyalo successfully converting it. As the match neared its conclusion, winger Aisea Nawai broke away for a spectacular solo try.

However, the game also saw discipline issues with both Nawai and Tuidraki receiving yellow cards.
