Four Fijian teams are set to compete for the netball championship at the 10th Sanatan World Cup in Sydney next weekend. Suva, Labasa, Tuva, and Nasinu will face off against eight other teams from Australia and New Zealand.
The Suva team is placed in Group A, along with Liverpool Flames, Sydney Warriors Orange, and NZ Team Bula. In Group B, Labasa will compete against Melbourne Amazon, Sydney Warriors, and NZ Highbrook. Group C consists of Liverpool, Auckland Ferns, Tuva, and Nasinu.
A total of 18 group matches are scheduled to take place, with the top eight teams advancing to the quarterfinals. The one-day competition will occur on Saturday, September 28, at the Blacktown Spartan Sporting Complex, utilizing courts 1 and 2.
Additionally, the 10th Sanatan World Cup, organized by the Rams Group of Companies, will kick off with the football tournament on Thursday, September 26.
