Four teams from Fiji are set to participate in the Netball championship at the 10th Sanatan World Cup in Sydney next weekend. Teams from Suva, Labasa, Tuva, and Nasinu will face off against eight competitors from Australia and New Zealand.
The Fijian team from Suva is placed in Group A, along with the Liverpool Flames, Sydney Warriors Orange, and NZ Team Bula. Labasa has been drawn in Group B, which includes Melbourne Amazon, Sydney Warriors, and NZ Highbrook. Meanwhile, Group C features Liverpool, Auckland Ferns, Tuva, and Nasinu.
A total of 18 group matches will take place, after which the top eight teams will advance to the quarterfinals. The entire competition will be held on Saturday, September 28, at the Blacktown Spartan Sporting Complex on courts 1 and 2.
In addition, the Rams Group of Companies will kick off the 10th Sanatan World Cup on Thursday, September 26, with a football tournament.
