Four teams from Fiji are set to compete for the Netball title at the 10th Sanatan World Cup in Sydney next weekend. The Suva, Labasa Tuva, and Nasinu teams will face off against eight competitors from Australia and New Zealand.
Suva is placed in Group A alongside Liverpool Flames, Sydney Warriors Orange, and NZ Team Bula. Labasa finds itself in Group B with Melbourne Amazon, Sydney Warriors, and NZ Highbrook. Tuva and Nasinu are part of Group C, which includes Liverpool and Auckland Ferns.
A total of 18 group matches are scheduled before the top eight teams advance to the quarterfinals. This one-day event will take place on Saturday, September 28, at the Blacktown Spartan Sporting Complex’s courts 1 and 2.
Additionally, the Rams Group of Companies will kick off the 10th Sanatan World Cup officially on Thursday, September 26, with the football competition.
