Fijian swimmer Marseleima Moss has achieved a remarkable milestone by setting a new national record at the World Aquatic Championship in Hungary. The 18-year-old swimmer triumphed in her heat, finishing with an impressive time of 2 minutes and 24.22 seconds in the women’s 200-meter backstroke, marking a personal best and a new high for Fiji.

In addition to her outstanding performance in the 200-meter event, Moss also turned in swift personal times in other events, including the 100-meter freestyle, where she posted a time of 1 minute and 48 seconds, and the 100-meter backstroke, clocking in at 1 minute and 10.23 seconds.
