Ben Volavola has officially joined the Leicester Tigers senior men’s squad for the upcoming 2024/25 season.
The former Fijian international, who can play in various positions in the backline, boasts an impressive record of over 200 professional rugby matches, including 38 Test caps and participation in two Rugby World Cups.
Volavola has spent the past seven seasons in France, playing for Rugby clubs such as Racing 92, Perpignan, and most recently, Agen.
On his move to Leicester Tigers, Volavola expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “I am honoured and excited to join this club, and this talented group.” He added, “I’ve been waiting for the right opportunity, and after speaking to (Michael), I jumped at the chance to come to Leicester. I’m eager to see what we can achieve this season,” he shared with Leicester Tigers media.
