Ben Volavola has officially joined the Leicester Tigers senior men’s squad for the upcoming 2024/25 season. The former Fijian international, who can play in several positions in the backs, boasts an impressive record of over 200 professional rugby appearances, including 38 Test caps and participation in two Rugby World Cup tournaments.
Volavola has spent the last seven seasons in France, playing for Racing 92, Perpignan, and most recently Agen.
Upon joining Leicester Tigers, Volavola expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “I am honoured and excited to join this club, and this talented group.” He added, “I’ve been waiting for the right opportunity and after speaking to (Michael), I jumped at the chance to come to Leicester and I’m excited to see what we can do this season,” he shared with Leicester Tigers media.
