Ben Volavola has officially joined the Leicester Tigers men’s senior team for the 2024/25 season. The former international player from Fiji has a wealth of experience, having participated in over 200 professional rugby matches, which includes 38 Test caps and appearances in two Rugby World Cups.
For the past seven seasons, Volavola played in France, representing teams such as Racing 92, Perpignan, and most recently, Agen.
Upon joining Leicester Tigers, Volavola expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “I am honoured and excited to join this club and this talented group.” He added, “I’ve been waiting for the right opportunity, and after speaking to (Michael), I jumped at the chance to come to Leicester and I’m excited to see what we can do this season,” as reported by Leicester Tigers media.
