This renewal comes as a significant boost for the fans, showcasing the club’s confidence in the young talent, who is currently the leading points scorer this season with a total of 135 points.

At just 21 years old, Armstrong-Ravula has made a remarkable impact, contributing to crucial victories over renowned Super Rugby Pacific teams, including the Chiefs and Crusaders. His standout performance against the Chiefs in Round 4 of the 2025 season saw him convert two tries and successfully kick three penalties, accumulating 13 points during the match. Since debuting for the Drua against the Blues last season, Armstrong-Ravula has played 18 matches, earning 9 caps for the Flying Fijians national team. His journey in rugby began with an impressive showing for Fiji Under-20s at the World Rugby U20 Championship, where he was selected for the tournament’s Dream Team.

Expressing his gratitude, Armstrong-Ravula said, “I’m really blessed and grateful to the coaches for giving me this opportunity in a very special club like the Drua, and I’m very excited for the future.” Baden Stephenson, the Drua’s General Manager Rugby, remarked on Armstrong-Ravula’s maturity and work ethic, highlighting the potential he has to transform into a world-class player.

As the Drua prepares for upcoming matches, including a fierce encounter against the Western Force, the excitement surrounding Armstrong-Ravula’s contributions and the direction of the team inspires hope for a successful season ahead. The narrative of young talents like Armstrong-Ravula stepping up reflects a broader trend in Fijian rugby, underlining the resilience and potential that characterize this vibrant sport.

The future looks bright for both Armstrong-Ravula and the Fijian Drua as they continue to nurture and develop young talents in the competitive landscape of rugby.
