Swire Shipping Fijian Drua winger Taniela Rakuro has officially signed a contract extension that will keep him with the club until the end of the 2026 Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific season. The 25-year-old, hailing from Vusama in Nadroga, is recognized for his explosive speed and has made a notable impact on the field, scoring nine tries in 23 appearances.

Rakuro will also play for the Yarrow’s Taranaki Bulls in the upcoming 2025 Bunnings Warehouse NPC, giving him valuable offseason game time. “I am grateful to God for this opportunity to represent the Fijian Drua again in the 2026 season,” he expressed, highlighting his appreciation for the support from the coaching staff and management.
