Employees of IHG hotels and resorts, owned by FNPF, showcased their talents by securing top honors in various competitions during the annual HOTEC 2024 event held in Nadi.
Hansini Gounder from the InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa claimed first place in the barista category, highlighting her sophisticated coffee-making skills. Notably, this marks her third win in this category, as she previously triumphed in 2017 and 2018.
The bartender competition saw Theodore Reyes, also from InterContinental, taking home the top prize with his creative cocktails that featured local ingredients, reflecting the rich flavors of the region. Additionally, Anesh Anushal Goundar secured a runner-up position in the chef competition by presenting dishes inspired by Fijian cuisine.
Supporting their achievements were colleagues Brandon Solvalu from GPH, and Mereoni Ligadua and Malakai Kauyaca from Holiday Inn.
