Fijian Holdings Limited (FHL) has taken a proactive step towards environmental stewardship by organizing a foreshore clean-up between Suva Point and Albert Park, along with its subsidiaries Merchant Finance Limited, FHL Properties Limited, and Fijian Holdings Unit Trust. The clean-up, conducted in partnership with the Suva City Council, is part of FHL’s ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program aimed at enhancing community service and environmental awareness.

The early morning initiative not only served to clean up the foreshore but also helped foster teamwork among employees from various departments within the FHL Group. Participants were recognized for their contributions at a morning tea held at Albert Park Hall, celebrating their shared commitment to sustainability.

FHL’s commitment to environmental initiatives echoes its broader vision of empowering local communities and supporting sustainability efforts. This clean-up event embodies FHL’s strategy of integrating social responsibility into its business practices, further reinforcing its role as a leader in corporate citizenship in Fiji.

Looking back at FHL’s recent endeavors, including its strategic investments aimed at empowering iTaukei resource owners and celebrating its 40th anniversary, it is clear that the company continues to make significant strides both in economic development and community engagement. As FHL advances with these initiatives, there’s a hopeful outlook for both the organization and the communities it supports, positioning itself as a principal driver of sustainable growth in Fiji.
