This event marks the third tournament of the series, and fans are optimistic about witnessing Fiji’s continued strong performances.

Sailosi Naiteqe, a former selector, coach, and player for the Fiji 7s team, expressed his appreciation for the team’s efforts this season while living in Australia. He acknowledged the significant contributions of Coach Osea Kolinisau and the players, stating, “I want to thank coach Osea Kolinisau and the boys for having a good start this season.” He also recognized the essential support from the players’ families, highlighting their role in the team’s success.

Currently, Fiji tops the standings with 36 points, edging out Spain, which has 32 points, and France, with 30 points. Given this strong start, there is growing optimism that Fiji can maintain its lead as the series unfolds.

Moreover, Naiteqe emphasized the enthusiastic backing from the Fijian community in Australia. “All Fijians here are ready to cheer on our boys and show our full support to the players and coaching staff,” he shared. As the new year approaches, he extended warm wishes to all provincial and national teams, expressing hope for their upcoming endeavors.
