Sailosi Naiteqe, a former selector, coach, and player for Fiji 7s who now resides in Australia, expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the team’s progress this season. “I want to thank coach Osea Kolinisau and the boys for having a good start this season,” Naiteqe remarked, acknowledging the crucial support from the players’ families, which he believes plays a significant role in the team’s success.
At present, the Fiji men’s team leads the series standings with 36 points, just ahead of Spain, which has accumulated 32 points, and France, standing at 30 points. This strong position has undoubtedly heightened expectations for Fiji to maintain its lead as the tournament series advances.
