The difficulties continued in Napier, where the Drua faced additional inconvenience as they were denied a late checkout from their hotel. This left the team waiting in the lobby prior to their afternoon match against the Hurricanes, while reports indicated that the Hurricanes were permitted to stay later, raising concerns about equitable treatment for visiting teams.
