The Fijian Drua has announced the signing of national Under-20 representatives Breyton Legge and John Muller to its Development program for the upcoming 2025 season.
Loosehead prop Legge has played nine matches for Fiji’s Under-20 team since 2022, including a recent stint at the U20 World Rugby Championship held in South Africa. Meanwhile, Muller, who captained Northland’s provincial squad this season, has represented Fiji in the 2021 U20 World Cup and was part of the Fiji Warriors team that won the Pacific Rugby Cup in 2023.
Ifereimi Rawaqa, the Drua’s Development and Skills Coach, expressed enthusiasm about the new additions to the program, stating, “Legge is a skilled player and a quick learner. Muller is a hardworking player who brings aggression in both attack and defense. With professional development through Drua, I am confident that both players will advance to the next level.”
The Drua’s Development program has a successful track record of promoting players such as Livai Natave, Philip Baselala, Taniela Rakuro, Motikiai Murray, Mesake Vocevoce, and Sikeli Rabitu, all of whom have secured contracts in Super Rugby Pacific.
