Ifereimi Rawaqa, the interim head coach for the Fijian Drua women, is set to announce his Super W squad for 2025 on January 6. Rawaqa plans to gather a group of 35 players, ensuring a blend of experience and potential talent. Notable players who have been spotted in training include former national sevens captain Rusila Nagasau, along with 2022 Drua team members Timaima Ravisa and Kolora Lomani, suggesting that the squad will retain some strong foundations while also welcoming new talent.

The Fijian Drua women are gearing up for an exciting season, with their first match against the Waratahs scheduled for February 28 at Allianz Stadium in Sydney. Following this, they will return to Fiji for home games against the Reds and Brumbies on March 8 and March 15, respectively at Churchill Park in Lautoka. Their fourth match will be against the Western Force at HBF Park in Perth, marking a busy start to the season. The path to the finals is set, with the semi-finals taking place on April 2 and the grand final on April 12.

This proactive approach to team selection and the engagement of well-known players indicate a promising outlook for the Fijian Drua women as they prepare for a competitive season ahead. The mix of seasoned veterans and emerging talents could potentially lead to a successful campaign.
