Ifereimi Rawaqa, the interim head coach for the Fijian Drua women’s rugby team, is set to announce his 2025 Super W squad on January 6. He plans to select a pool of 35 athletes for the upcoming season.
Among the notable players training with the squad are former national sevens captain Rusila Nagasau, alongside Timaima Ravisa and Kolora Lomani, both of whom were part of the 2022 Drua lineup.
The Fijian Drua women’s team will begin their campaign with a match against the Waratahs on February 28 at Allianz Stadium in Sydney. Following that, they are scheduled to host the Reds and the Brumbies at Churchill Park in Lautoka on March 8 and March 15, respectively. Round 4 will find them facing off against the Western Force at HBF Park in Perth, Australia. The semi-finals are planned for April 2, culminating with the finals on April 12.
