The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua has appointed Josefa Vanuaca to the newly established position of Head of Sales. This role merges the previous responsibilities of Ticketing with Hospitality and Sponsorship Servicing.
Vanuaca comes to the Fijian Drua with over 15 years of expertise in business development, finance, and project management. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, focusing on Accounting and Information Systems, along with a Postgraduate Diploma in Climate Change. Prior to this role, he was associated with New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, the nation’s agency for international business development.
In a statement, Shane Hussein, the General Manager Commercial at Fijian Drua, expressed enthusiasm for Vanuaca’s arrival during a time of substantial growth for the club. He emphasized the Drua’s commitment to exploring new revenue avenues while enhancing ticketing, hospitality, and sponsorship services. Vanuaca will collaborate closely with Angie Lal, the Head of Marketing and Fan Experience, to ensure that every event is accessible for fans and corporate clients alike.
