The Fijian Drua has welcomed Josaia Moimoi as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), succeeding Shafina Dean, who has relocated to New Zealand for further studies. Moimoi, hailing from Vanuabalavu in Lau, boasts over a decade of experience in financial services, alongside a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Business Management, as well as qualifications in Organisational Behaviour from Brigham Young University in Hawaii. He previously served as a Financial Management Specialist with the Embassy of the United States of America.
Fijian Drua CEO Mark Evans expressed confidence in Moimoi’s capabilities, noting his strong performance during a rigorous recruitment process involving both local and international candidates. Evans also extended gratitude to outgoing CFO Dean for her contributions to the club.
