Fijian Drua players are actively participating in daily training sessions across various locations in Fiji as they get ready for the upcoming Super Rugby Pacific season.
Flanker Vilive Miramira mentioned, “The players are enjoying their break now.” He shared that he has been following a rigorous training program, focusing primarily on conditioning, running, and strength training at the gym.
Miramira was seen at the Ratu Kadavulevu School (RKS) centennial celebrations Fun and Sports day at Albert Park alongside teammate Motikai Murray. He expressed his eagerness to represent the Flying Fijians, emphasizing the need to enhance his game knowledge and fitness level.
To maintain his form, Miramira plays touch rugby in the afternoons in Davuilevu. “There’s no rugby for me at the moment, just rest and recover,” he stated. He also expressed a desire to try out for the sevens format to stay active.
Miramira is keen on joining the Devo Babas sevens team for any upcoming tournaments, wishing the Devo players and coach good luck in their next competition. He added, “If there is any space in the team, just give me a call.”
