The Fijian Drua has announced a dynamic new partnership with the prominent Australian sunglasses brand, Carve. This collaboration is made possible through the team’s strong ties with Jack’s of Fiji, and it will see Carve providing eyewear for all Drua men’s and women’s players, as well as staff, for the upcoming 2025 Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific season.

This agreement brings an exciting blend of style and functionality to the Drua team. Shane Hussein, the general manager of commercial operations for Fijian Drua, expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration. He noted, “It is a very great partnership for the Drua to have with Carve. It is an addition to the ongoing wonderful relationship that we have with Jack’s of Fiji. Our Men’s and Women’s players will not only look great with Carve but also enjoy great protection from the western sun.”

The partnership is particularly significant because of Carve’s established connections to Fiji. Matt Whyte, director of White Room International, emphasized his pride in being the sunglass sponsor for the Drua teams in 2025, highlighting that Fiji feels like a second home to him. “Sponsoring the Drua was my way of giving back to a country and people that have been so good to myself,” he remarked.

Jack’s of Fiji, the official distributor for Carve sunglasses, also welcomed the partnership. Director Nikul Khatri commented that Carve Sunglasses is known for its quality, style, and affordability, which harmonizes perfectly with the Drua brand, both in Fiji and internationally.

Through this partnership, the Drua players and staff will not only sport a stylish new look but will also benefit from essential sun protection while competing on and off the field.

This partnership not only enhances the team’s image but also strengthens community ties and local business support, showcasing a promising future for the Fijian Drua in the sporting arena.
