Pacific Fishing Company Pte Limited (PAFCO) has announced its partnership with the Fijian Drua, bringing its well-known “Sun Bell” brand into the team’s sponsorship circle. This collaboration is marked by a significant three-year sponsorship agreement that includes the introduction of the Sun Bell Drua 10s tournament.
The Sun Bell Drua 10s tournament is set to be an exhilarating one-day event which will feature top provincial players competing against members of the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua team. This annual tournament will include two teams from the Drua and six from provincial ranks, aiming to celebrate local talent and foster the sport’s growth in Fiji.
Mark Evans, CEO of Fijian Drua, expressed his excitement about welcoming PAFCO into their sponsorship family, highlighting the brand’s long-standing recognition in Fiji and its contribution to the economy. He acknowledged the positive impact this partnership will have in solidifying Sun Bell’s presence nationwide. He also mentioned the team’s eagerness to engage with the community in Ovalau, emphasizing their commitment to supporting PAFCO’s ongoing local initiatives.
PAFCO’s CEO, Saiyad Raiyum, conveyed pride in partnering with the Fijian Drua and supporting their participation in the Super Rugby Pacific competition.
