Fijian Drua players are actively participating in daily training sessions across various locations in Fiji as they prepare for the upcoming Super Rugby Pacific season. Flanker Vilive Miramira shared that the players are currently enjoying their break.
He mentioned, “I’ve been following an intense training program, focusing mostly on conditioning, with plenty of running and strength training in the gym.” Miramira attended the centennial celebrations and Fun and Sports day at Ratu Kadavulevu School alongside teammate Motikai Murray.
Miramira expressed his eagerness to play for the Flying Fijians, stating, “I will seize any opportunity to represent the team.” He noted that to be ready, he needs to enhance his game knowledge and improve his fitness levels. To maintain his form, he engages in touch rugby sessions in the afternoons in Davuilevu.
Currently, he is taking a break from rugby to rest and recover but has an interest in trying out for a sevens team to stay active. Miramira is keen on joining the Devo Babas sevens side for upcoming tournaments and extended his best wishes to the Devo players and coach for their next competition, adding, “If there’s any space in the team, just give me a call.”
