Fijian Drua players are actively participating in daily training sessions across various locations in Fiji as they prepare for the upcoming Super Rugby Pacific season.
Flanker Vilive Miramira expressed that the players are currently enjoying their break. He shared that he has been following a rigorous training regime focused on conditioning, which includes extensive running and strength training at the gym.
Miramira joined his teammate Motikai Murray at the Ratu Kadavulevu School centennial celebrations’ Fun and Sports day at Albert Park recently. He expressed his eagerness to seize any opportunity to represent the Flying Fijians in the future. To achieve this, he noted the importance of enhancing his game knowledge and improving his fitness level.
To maintain his form during this off period, Miramira often engages in touch rugby in the afternoons in Davuilevu. He mentioned that he is currently prioritizing rest and recovery instead of regular rugby practice.
Additionally, Miramira has expressed an interest in participating in sevens rugby to stay active, indicating his desire to join the Devo Babas team for upcoming tournaments. He extended his best wishes to the Devo players and their coach, while also inviting them to reach out if there is an opening on the team.
