Lock forward Suliasi Vukaokalo expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming week, emphasizing the benefits of being in a new environment. He noted, “It’s going to be an exciting camp for us. It is a change in the environment and the boys are looking forward to it.” Vukaokalo highlighted the importance of stepping out of their comfort zones, describing Kadavu as a place free from distractions. “We are definitely going to make the most use of the time ahead of us before we break for the holidays,” he added.
Additionally, the Fijian Drua will participate in an exhibition match against the Kadavu Rugby Union team on Thursday, providing an opportunity to showcase their skills and strengthen community ties.
This proactive approach by the Fijian Drua not only enhances team camaraderie but also fosters local connections, reflecting a meaningful blend of sports and cultural respect.
