The Fijian Drua and Pleass Global Limited, the producers of the popular AquaSafe and VaiWai water brands, have announced the renewal of their partnership.
Pleass Global Limited’s flagship water brand, AquaSafe, will continue as the Official Water of the Fijian Drua.
The agreement allows the publicly listed water company to feature prominently on the main playing jerseys of the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua Men’s team and to maintain visibility both on and off the field for both the men’s and women’s teams.
Fijian Drua General Manager Commercial Shane Hussein expressed pride in the continued association with Pleass Global Limited, stating that the AquaSafe and VaiWai water brands will remain important partners. He emphasized the significance of water in high performance and noted the players’ preference for these brands. Hussein highlighted that having two of Fiji’s most recognizable brands onboard is excellent for the Fijian Drua.
Warwick Pleass, Managing Director of Pleass Global Limited, expressed pride in the collaboration with the Drua team, celebrating their achievements and shared values of excellence and perseverance. He voiced excitement for the upcoming seasons and reiterated their commitment to hydration and wellbeing.
Under the renewed partnership, the AquaSafe brand will be displayed on the side panels of the Drua Men’s Home Jersey, while VaiWai will be featured on the Clash jersey.
The 2025 playing kit will be available for retail from this December.
The renewed partnership will span three years.
